Maor Givat Aruha Red is a blend based on Cabernet Sauvignon with the addition of a Syrah, and a little Petit Verdot. The grapes for Maor Givat Aruha Red come from two plots in the vineyard of the winery in the Tel Fares area in the Golan Heights. Maor Givat Aruha series wines undergo a process of spontaneous fermentation without the addition of yeast and are squeezed after soaking for about two to three weeks on the skins. The wines in the series are aged for a year in French oak barrels and then for another year to a year and a half in bottles before being marketed to wine shops and restaurants. The wines in the series are very accessible for drinking and are characterized by aromas and flavors of ripe fruit and spices.
